We all Belong to One Canada

I know the election results thrilled many and disappointed others.

We were divided along red, blue, orange, green…

I say let’s create a rainbow with those colours!

Because, at the end of the day, we are all CANADIANS.

We all belong to this one country.

We all belong to each other.

The fabric of what holds us together has been frayed, but not irrevocably torn.

Now is the moment to take a deep breath;

Acknowledge our differences, and the fears that fed them; and

Begin the work of rebuilding confidence, trust and faith in ourselves, in one another and in our country.

Is there anything more 🇨🇦 Canadian 🇨🇦?
